Day 10...Heineken Brewery

It is quite overcast here in Amsterdam and has been since Tuesday morning and oh yes it is cold especially with the wind. It is 11 degrees Celsius. Walked down to the Heineken brewery to go through the tour. I had read that couple of years ago, this place was closed due to some remodeling. To make a better tour experience was their goal. Well, I do have to say, once of the best tours I have gone through as far as beer is concerned. Most are pretty basic, how is beer made, you see the fermenting tanks, the bottling and so on. The Heineken tour has taken that same approach and modernized it. Giving a better experience. With your ticket you get three beers and a free gift. Well, of course these will be small glasses that is the same amount as an eye wash. Wrong, regular glasses equaling to about a beer bottle. There were several interactive stations, Alx and I did a karaoke video, will send it out but if you did not get it let me know and I will send it. Also check your spam email just incase. Later on, went to a bar and hung out with this really cool guy that has traveled all over knows about five languages. Speaking of languages, my friend Jerome asked the following: What do you call a person that speaks three languages? A trilingual What do you call a person that speaks two languages? A bilingual What do you call a person that speaks one language? An American. Ha Ha, way to funny. He stated such awful and cruel statement because I told him that is flag was white. Ha Ha Ha, Ho Ho Ho, He He He…Now that is some funny shit. (In serious we both were giving each other a hard time, all in good fun) And now, the rest of the story. So anyway this guy, Jose, told us all about his travels and what he has seen and so forth. He lives in Norway and has a Spanish restaurant. Hung out a bit and then Alx and I went to have dinner. I do have to say, that every place that Alx and I have been to dine, the service has been slow and no care that the service sucks and this includes Paris. At least the food is good, what would really suck is if both the service and food are bad. Oh well, different people and cultures. Suppose it would make as their service fee is already charged to your bill. I could only imagine if we did that in the states, the service is already bad in most restaurants.
