Today being our last day in Paris we chose to have a little down time. We did our laundry and had our last meal at our favorite place, La Pignata. A super yummy place that we have grown to love. Finishing our lunch we headed back to the apartment, dropped off our laundry and headed to the Sacred Heart Church. We were not allowed to take pictures inside, but again another massive cathedral. The best part, the pipe organ, they were tuning it when we arrived so you could hear each pipe or key I guess you would say. From the lowest deepest sound to the highest. We walked around looking at each little thing they had and left. The view of Paris is really nice as well, pretty much the same view as the second level of the Eiffel, though of course a different angle.
Our last dinner was with Jerome and Fabrice. They took us to an interesting place called Chartier. We arrived and their was a line, that looked to be about a 30-45 minute wait. The host came out and asking how many in each party till he came to the tourist in front of us that spoke English only, they were the first party of four. The host went back in and comes out speaking in French a party of four, no body moved then he yells out part of four, move your ass. Luckily we were with Jerome and Fabrice as nobody still did not move so we took their place and our wait was reduced down to 10 minutes. Walking inside it totally reminded us Original Joe's with bad service. Jerome stated the workers are all ex-cons, looking at most of them I believe it. When you order your food, the waiter writes the order on the paper table covering, this is also where he adds your bill up. The interesting part as they bring food out from the kitchen they stop at a desk and a guy sits there inputting their waiter number and what they are taking out, at the end of the night they match what food was delivered and how much money they have and all should match. Seems complicated, but apparently it works. The food was ok, but cheap cheap cheap. That was the cheapest meal ever.
