Waking up early, 6 am we got ready as we always do, however this time we get a knock on the door. A tall and young gentlemen is at our door and states that the people underneath us are complaining stating to much noise. Are you kidding me? We have been here for four days and now you are complaining. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to complain. As you walk on the floor it sounds like there is just a ply-board between the floor and their ceiling. What annoyed me the most is that during the night, the jackass’ in room 517 next to us were so loud slamming doors, yelling down the hall and we get called on. The hotel was super ass cute and I completely recommend for anybody to stay their. We stayed at Best Western Eden Hotel. Well, this hotel is part of the Eden Hotel Group that owns several hotels in Europe. The only one in the states is Sierra Grand Resort in Reno, which is also a nice hotel. The room was decorated super modern with a tulip art replica as our headboard. Very nice, other than that particular room. Make sure you ask for a non smoking, the entire fifth floor is designated to non smoking. Trust me you need the fresh air.
We now are sitting a station in Anheim still in the Netherlands. We chose to upgrade our seats to first class as the trip is pretty long to Munich. We have a TV in each seat that is only in German about the history of the Deutsch Bahn and ICE. I would not say that I love trains, but watching in German is not all that.
What concerns me is the transit strike in Germany. I have been told that we will be fine on the ICE is not effected by the strike. Where our problem might be is in Munich, catching a local line down to Schliseree. Schliseree is a ski village and our “home” for the next seven days. We chose this village for two reasons, it was close to the major places that we want to see and secondly Alx’s parents gave us their time share so it all worked out for our trip.
Arriving in Munich, I was a bit taken back by the Germans and how harsh they can sound especially when they do not know English and are yelling at you at the train stop while every one looks on. The doors close, and we look at each other, great we just missed the train. Then the doors open and he is yelling at us again and this time we get on the train despite what ever the hell he is saying. Ugh!!!! I am tired and irritable, this is not what I need. As we get on the train, everyone is staring at us, I have never felt so out of place.
Arriving at the resort in this small village of Schliersee, we are most happy to see the Martin Short, if he were a young German man. :)
I am a huge fan of the German bed:
No more arguing over taking the blankets, though there goes the sex life and cuddling. Suppose it could be the condom for cuddling. Yeah? Cheesy I know.

Your Salsburg chapter was awesome. I never got there. Don't worry about the earthquake girlfriend. Nothing has changed and no damage so you would'nt even know it happened, even though it was right under your house. It's all good.
Miss you.
