Oh what a week...

As I get ready to leave work for 10 weeks of paid time off or also known as a sabbatical, I want everything done, so that all I have to do is hand over a clean desk to those that are backing me up. Well in a time where companies are running a lean staff to save cost, it becomes more and more difficult and work loads increase. Well if you are one of those that are backing me up, my apologies to you, I did the best I could.

Today, was a really good day and one of my best days. I was in a pretty freakin awesome mood, as it was my last day for 10 weeks. The morning did drag a bit, but as I had lunch with the two of the greatest friends that I have, Dan "My Mother" and Jeff "My Sister", the day was flying. And guess what, I did not have done what I wanted to get done. The afternoon minutes continued to tick away and then it started, the bon voyage greetings began. Michelle and Sabrina from ST, then the great group of people that I work with and lastly my girls from Fourfront, Tammy, Vanessa & Michelle. WOW!!! Let me begin a great big thank you to each and everyone of you. You made a pretty great ending to my day. There are many great people that I have the pleasure of having in my life. Did I say thank you yet? THANK YOU!!!!

As I left work driving down the freeway unwinding from a day of a natural high, I had to make one last phone call, and then I was done with work. What a great feeling.
