Monterey Bay Aquarium

Today I took my Dad to Monterey Bay Aquarium, gotta tell you he was like a child in a toy store. He was very impressed by the exhibits. He was crackin me up. From the size of the tunas, to the way they bring in the ocean water and re-create the natural environments. Of course he love the otters, that was one of his favorites. Then we came to the jellyfish exhibit. This is my favorite over the otters. I find looking at them to be peaceful and serene.

Not sure how many of you, reading this, have seen a sun fish in person but those things are ugly. Pictures that I have seen are nothing compared to what they truly look like. And huge, a good five feet long and probably five feet in height from tip of top and bottom fin. They have two sun fish' on exhibit with the white shark. Was not all that impressed with the white shark as my fascination was to the sun fish.

Unfortunately the penguins exhibit was closed, so that was a bummer, but just another excuse to go Monterey.
