Riley...

The weekend of the 7th Sept, we laid sod in our backyard and also we boarded Riley at the dogie hotel that Monday. Picking him up on the following day. A day or so later, we noticed that Riley was licking at his hind quarters. Did not think anything of it other than maybe he was itching him self due to his glands being swollen. We will just leave it at that. He continued to keep doing it, so I look at the back of his thigh. From his thigh to his back end the skin was totally red and irritated. I took him to the vet and he has an allergic reaction to something. Well my first fear was the new grass that we had laid down. Oh great now what? They kept him for four hours as they were going to run test on him. Riley is a lab, and when I picked him up I got a labradoodle, lol lol. They shaved half of his tail, and his whole hind in. A week later his hind in has improved so much. So of course I have to show you, not to gross you out, but it was gross.

We call it Riley's Baboon, ha ha ha ha ha ha!
